Overview

Stephens Investment Management Group, LLC is the investment adviser to the Stephens Mid Cap Growth Strategy. This diversified strategy seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in common stocks of U.S. companies with market capitalizations between $1 billion and the market capitalization of the largest company in the Russell Midcap® Growth Index at the time of investment.

Mid cap stocks can serve as a valuable complement to an overall portfolio, offering diversification benefits, reduced capitalization concentration risk, and the potential for enhanced long-term returns. However, investing in mid cap companies does involve greater risk, and their stock prices may be more volatile than those of larger, more established firms.

Mutual Fund

Effective February 24, 2012, the Stephens Small Cap Growth Fund and Stephens Mid Cap Growth Fund were reorganized into the American Beacon Family of Funds. The new Funds were renamed as the American Beacon Stephens Small Cap Growth Fund and the American Beacon Stephens Mid-Cap Growth Fund. SIMG continues to manage the day-to-day portfolio as the sub-adviser to the American Beacon Stephens Funds.
